Nearly 40 kilometers from Solan, Kalka, is the closest railway station. Additionally, Solan has a railroad station of its own. Delhi is easily accessible from the city thanks to trains like the Himalayan Queen.

In Solan, there is no airport. The capital of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla, is around 45 kilometers from the closest airport. From the airport in Shimla to Solan, taxis, and cabs are conveniently available.
